Up to our standards
It was all good! The set out of the unit was everything you want and need. The cleanliness was great, excellent in fact and we stay in a lot of motels here and in Australia. It was really nice staying here and I'm fussy. Thank you and we will be back for sure.
Great Stay
The motel unit was clean, fully equipped with the facilities I needed and the hosts gave a very friendly welcome and were helpful. Excellent stay and thanks for the tip about the band in the park on Saturday night.

The hotel is nice, but the best is the owner of the hotel (Paul). He told us where to walk (near a river) during the afternoon, where to go for the evening (with possibility to put the bill of our restaurant to your hotel bill) and describe us a road to follow to see something that are not in the tourist guides :). Wonderful!
Clean & Friendly
I stayed for 3 nights in one of the Queen Studios, which was blissfully quiet. The kitchen had everything I needed, and there were plenty of places nearby to get food. The room was clean and well looked after. The staff were very helpful and friendly and had heaps of advice on things to do in the area. Thanks for a great stay.
Excellent value for money & with friendly service
Convenient location, with quiet, comfortable rooms which have recently being upgraded. I was so impressed with the service that we now use this motel for all our staff bookings in New Plymouth. I have stayed here for 3+ months out of the past 6 and will definitely be returning. Recent upgrades to the high speed internet have made this more convenient.
Free internet!
We stayed here for one night on our way from Auckland to Wellington. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with the free Wi Fi as this seems quite uncommon in NZ. The room was clean and we felt the motel was value for money. (We paid $115). We were at the front and were not disturbed by the road noise. We were able to walk to a nearby restaurant Cobb and Co where we had a good meal.
Great place to stay, friendly and welcoming
We stayed here for 4 days and had fabulous service. Enjoyed the location, handy to town and beaches, supermarkets, etc. Rooms (we had adjoining rooms, with the children) were spacious and very clean, had everything we needed. Hosts were very helpful, had loads of information and helpful hints on the town and nothing was a problem. We had rooms at the front, near the main road but there was no noise inside, very comfortable stay.

Hard to fault, handy for the beach.
It’s location as it is handy to most things within 5min to the centre. the place was new and everything inside was very clean, new and comfortable. the bedding was very good too.

Very well appointed and tidy apartment that is well set up for a family Great location 5 mins walk from the beach.

It was so great that we even came back for another 2 nights when our plans changed suddenly
Room had everything we needed - bed was like heaven - having a separate TV with cable in the bedroom was great - a small dishwasher even better - full size fridge was great - very quiet room

Superb. Modern and clean.
Comfortable and modern furnishings. I got upgraded rooms free of charge which was a lovely find upon check in. Great communication with owners. easy and convenient check in services.

Room was comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located for everything that we wanted to do in New Plymouth.
Great affordable place to stay.
Nice and clean we stayed in one of the new great One bedroom apartments . We (Myself and 2 teenagers)were down for the National Netball Tournament and it was short walk to the courts, and a short drive to the main CBD. When we arrived no staff on site but the reception building had a cool video telephone iPad that the owners answered, Very cool. I would recommend staying at the Strand
