We did have an issue with ants in our room which is why haven’t been able to give full stars. The response from the owner when made her aware of the ants was disheartening.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed here for work, payed the corporate business rate and the extra required to bring the family on my work trip. Beds are on the firmer side but comfortable.  Rooms have everything you need to manage meals and are well thought out, modern and clean. There was an odd smell possibly coming from the hot water cylinder or pipes? Kept the windows open and it didn't bother us too much. The only downside to our stay was the hoodlums who decided to party till 4am on the Friday night. No sleep for myslef, wife, kids or those staying on the opposite side of the party unit. Nobody from reception on site to shut them up? Staying again this week so hopefully a better night's sleep.

Booked four nights at the Strand and think we have finally found our go to place. Pleasantly surprised with this accommodation as ticks all the boxes.
